In a trend of sales involving shopping centers anchored by Jewel-Osco grocery stores, Chicago investment firm Newport Capital Partners purchased a grocery-anchored shopping center on the city’s near West Side for $30.6 million. The Jewel-Osco anchored property is located in a growing area with nearby new luxury apartments and mixed-use developments.
